Founded in 1982, the National Academy Foundation (NAF) partners with existing high schools in high-need communities to enhance school systems at a low cost by implementing NAF academies – small learning communities within traditional high schools.
NAF was awarded over $1,000,000 in funding from the Verizon Foundation!

In 2014, Verizon awarded over $30,000,000 to organizations of all sizes and types including churches, outreach ministries, community groups, local youth groups, little league teams, schools, homeless shelter, foodbanks, booster clubs, animal rescues, and many many more.
