The Jewish Helping Hands Foundation (JHH) is offering grants of up to $5,000 to nonprofits and individuals for a wide range of economic development and social empowerment projects that will aid underprivileged populations. Organizations of any background and religious affiliations are welcomed to apply. Preference will be given to organizations with smaller budgets (operating budgets under one million dollars) and projects that would otherwise not be possible without the Foundation's assistance. Special focus is also given to projects in East Africa, Central America, United States, and any impoverished Jewish community.
