Funding – Nonprofit

Allstate Foundation is offering grants up to $100,000 to nonprofit organizations for programs for children, youth, educators, and youth program providers that support racial equity. Funding is intended for programs that promote healthy relationships and prevent relationship violence and for programs that support youth engagement and leadership development.

The Calvin K. Kazanjian Economics Foundation is offering grants up to $25,000 to nonprofit organizations for projects addressing financial education. Funding is intended for projects that make the topic of economics more interesting and those that can easily be taught in schools and colleges. Projects that help students and adults often identified as “at-risk” of not participating in the market economy are encouraged.

Tomberg Family Philanthropies is offering grants up to $15,000 to nonprofit organizations, government entities, and public institutions for impactful projects. Focus areas for programs include the alleviation of poverty and education. The Foundation seeks opportunities such as pilot programs, support of a new program, capacity building, a demonstration project, an evaluation, an expansion of an existing project.

J. M. Kaplan Fund is offering grants up to $15,000 to nonprofit organizations and colleges and universities, museums, civic institutions, and trade publishers for financial assistance to produce and publish non-fiction books. Funding is intended for publications on the subjects of art, architecture and design; cultural history, the city and related public issues; and conservation and preservation.

TD Bank is offering grants up to $1 million to nonprofit organizations for projects that address inequities that have been worsened by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The 2021 TD Ready Challenge seeks to provide financial support to organizations that have designed innovative, scalable and/or replicable solutions to help address the predicted pandemic-caused learning loss in math and reading faced by disproportionately impacted students in grades K-12 in communities across North America.

Finance of America (FOA) Cares is offering grants up to $5,000 to nonprofit organizations to create goal-oriented solutions that improve the quality of life in local communities. Funding is intended for programs in human services, youth empowerment, and veterans’ services.

Call of Duty Endowment is offering grants up to $30,000 to nonprofit organizations that are working to secure quality job opportunities for unemployed military veterans. This award will be made to organizations that successfully place veterans in high-quality job positions. Organizations must operate with demonstrated integrity.

Harnisch Foundation – Awesome Without Borders is offering grants up to $1,000 to nonprofit organizations for creative and innovative projects. Priority is given to projects that involve the focus areas of leadership, media activism, and ideas that increase representation and inclusion in class, race, age, gender, religion, sexuality, and/or ability. Generally, there is a strong preference for projects that contribute to local communities.

Enterline Foundation is offering grants up to $15,000 to nonprofit organizations, congregations, government agencies, and educational institutions serving adults and children with disabilities. Funding is intended for agencies that focus on promoting independence and quality of life for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults and children.
