This federal grant from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Administration for Children & Families supports projects that promote responsible fatherhood for men 18 and older, focusing on three key areas: sustaining healthy marriages, responsible parenting, and economic stability. Programs should empower fathers to build stronger family connections and improve long-term well-being for their children.

First Responders Children’s Foundation provides grant opportunity of up to $5,000 to first responder agencies and nonprofits that support children and families of first responders through mental health services, youth education programs, community engagement, and emergency relief. Special focus is given to initiatives that strengthen the relationship between first responders and the communities they serve.

The Bengier Foundation offers grants up to $51,000 to nonprofit programs that provide transformative educational experiences for bright, hardworking young people with limited means and opportunities. Their mission is to expand students’ expectations of what they can achieve through access to high-quality learning pathways.

Bob Woodruff Foundation and Craig Newmark Philanthropies offers grants up to $175,000 for programs that support the health and well-being of military service members, veterans, families, and caregivers. Focus areas include improving social determinants of health, reducing healthcare barriers, increasing access to wellness programs, and fostering post-service success.

The Roger I. & Ruth B. MacFarlane Foundation offers grants up to $250,000 to organizations advancing equity and well-being through programs in education, health, economic empowerment, environmental justice, and support for women and girls across the U.S.

Takeda provides philanthropic support for nonprofit programs that build strong STEM foundations. Funding is focused on K–8 math readiness, high school STEM enrichment, and initiatives promoting college success in science, technology, engineering, and math fields.

The Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation’s Transformation of Mental Health Care Program supports projects that improve access to high-quality mental health care for children and adolescents from low-income families, under-resourced communities, and marginalized populations, including racially and ethnically diverse groups. The Ronald W. Burkle Foundation supports programs that promote international understanding, worker’s rights, underserved communities, arts and architecture, children’s education, and scientific research. Grant requests may be submitted via their website.

The Christopher D. Smithers Foundation funds programs that demonstrate alcoholism is a treatable disease. Grants support prevention efforts and recovery services, with a focus on high-risk populations such as at-risk youth and minority groups, while working to eliminate the stigma surrounding alcoholism.
