Funding Announcements (Members Only)

The Charles H. Stout Foundation is offering child abuse prevention grants to USA nonprofit organizations and churches. Preference is given to organizations that have low administrative and overhead costs, so that the majority of the funds will apply to the primary need. Priority will be given to organizations that provide services in cities where members of the foundation’s board of trusties reside, but all organizations are welcomed to apply regardless of location.

Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) and KaBOOM! are offering grants of $15,000 to USA nonprofit organizations, municipal agencies, and schools to purchase playground equipment to be used for the construction or renovation of a playground. Funding is intended to serve children from low-income families by creating safe play spaces for local communities, including the replacement of unsafe existing equipment.

The Best Buy Foundation is offering event sponsorship grants to USA nonprofits for events in the areas of diversity and inclusion, teens and technology, public affairs, and arts and culture. National events will be given priority over local events.

Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots Foundation is offering in-kind grants of $200 gift cards to individuals, nonprofit groups, and schools for youth-led community service projects. Funding is intended to support service campaigns for people, animals, or the environment. Successful applications will demonstrate elements of service learning, youth leadership, and community impact.

Shell Oil Company is offering grants to USA organizations for programs that provide services to low or middle-income individuals in the areas of community, education, and environment. Priority is given to nonprofits serving communities in which Shell Oil Company has a strong presence.

Kinder Morgan Foundation is offering grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to USA and Canada nonprofit organizations and schools to benefit youth in communities where Kinder Morgan has a business presence. Focus areas include arts education programs and academic programs, including tutoring. Qualifying programs must serve youth in grades K-12.

4Imprint (the custom promotional products company) is offering in-kind donations of promotional products valued at $500 to USA nonprofit organizations, churches, accredited schools, and registered charities. Funds are intended to improve the quality of life of those in need. The promotional items may be used to recruit volunteers, raise awareness, thank donors, or to offer comfort to those in need.

The Lilly Endowment Foundation is offering sabbatical grants to provide an opportunity for pastors to step away briefly from the persistent obligations of daily ministry life and to engage in a period of renewal and reflection. Sabbatical periods are not vacations but times for intentional exploration and reflection, for drinking again from God’s life-giving waters, for regaining enthusiasm and creativity for ministry.

The Dell Foundation is offering grants ranging from $500 to several million dollars to USA nonprofit organizations for programs and projects that have a direct, positive impact on children living in urban poverty. Funding will specifically be provided for proposals that focus on the areas of education, children’s health, and/or family economic stability.

The Calvin Kazanjian Economics Foundation is offering grants averaging $22,000 to USA nonprofit organizations for projects that raise national awareness of the need for economic education. Funding is intended for programs that engage youth and the general public in economic education or create a demand for greater economic literacy.
