The William G. McGowan Charitable Fund has issued a request for proposals in support of projects that proactively address the problems faced by homeless individuals.
Funding will be awarded in support of initiatives that seek to correct circumstances contributing to homelessness. Programs must include education or job training and job placement and retention and provide evidence-based support services designed to remove barriers to self-sufficiency for individuals who are homeless. Other support services may include mental health and substance abuse support; life skills, parenting, and/or personal budgeting training; and post-program participant follow up.
