$25k Financial Education Grant
The Calvin K. Kazanjian Economics Foundation is offering grants up to $25,000 to nonprofit organizations for projects addressing financial education. Funding is intended for projects that make the topic of economics more interesting and those that can easily be taught in schools and colleges. Projects that help students and adults often identified as “at-risk” of not participating in the market economy are encouraged.
$15k Impactful Project Grant
Tomberg Family Philanthropies is offering grants up to $15,000 to nonprofit organizations, government entities, and public institutions for impactful projects. Focus areas for programs include the alleviation of poverty and education. The Foundation seeks opportunities such as pilot programs, support of a new program, capacity building, a demonstration project, an evaluation, an expansion of an existing project.
$90K Immigrant Graduate School Grant
Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans offer fellowship opportunities to immigrants and children of immigrants for graduate school support. The program is intended for applicants under the age of 31 who are pursuing graduate studies in any advanced degree-granting program and any field throughout the country. Each Fellow receives $25,000 in stipend support a year (all stipend awards are capped at $50,000 per year), as well as 50 percent of required tuition and fees, up to $20,000 per year, for one to two years.
